About the store-
Enter into Bambini Design and enter into a world in which creativity and practicality co-exist to create a child’s paradise. The doors to this Rte. 9 (82 Bolyston Street, Brookline) gem opened nearly five years ago by owner, Yana Drogobetsky. European children’s furniture, clothing, and accessories characterize Bambini and set it apart from other local boutiques.
The focus of the store’s lower level is on newborns. All the necessities, such as cribs, Bugaboo strollers, high-chairs, and diaper bags, as well as, those additional fun items, like mobiles, framed artwork, and the irresistibly soft Kaloo stuffed animals, are featured. Displayed on the walls leading to the upper level are various clocks and coat racks and a beautiful collection of height charts.
The upstairs showroom of kids’ furniture provides adults with the opportunity to escape into a world of creative and practical design. Consulting with one of the store’s interior designers enables parents to create a custom-designed dream bedroom for their children. In addition, Bambini collaborates with a local mural artist and makes this option available to its clients. The final touches to the child’s bedroom may be made from the selection of rugs and/or lamps (both hanging and desk lamps) exhibited in the showroom.
The quality of the products coupled with the interior design of the store itself, would be reason enough to make the trip to this baby boutique; however, it is the customer service of the owner that makes the experience to Bambini worth the visit every time. Beyond her product knowledge
and comprehension of children’s development, it is Drogobetsky’s sincerity that establishes the warm and welcoming atmosphere. This tone alleviates the stress of soon-to-be parents and those already immersed in parenting, who are trying to accommodate the needs of their growing child or children.
Upon entering into Bambini Design, it is difficult to resist the urge of bringing out the child in ourselves, even if our age dictates that we are no longer children.
