Designing for TWINS

Many of you may have picked up a copy of the New England Baby Guide’s latest annual edition. We are very happy to have one of our designs featured. This room, in particular, is special because it displays some of our newest products and shows a wide variety of the different lines we’ve been working with.We would like to thank our client, Cheryl, for allowing us to photograph her twin daughters’ nursery and to be a part of the design process. She has truly been a dream client for us and we could not have designed such a gorgeous space without her enthusiasm and willingness to think outside the box.Color trends are changing all t e time and we love to keep current, but we can always appreciate those classics that never get out of style. We have designed so many different rooms this year, from bright play rooms with lots of little nooks to store all your kids’ favorite toys, to serene nurseries with ethereal wall panels full of flora and fauna. It has been such a whirlwind! If some of you are not familiar with our design service, be sure to visit the store or give us a call for more information. We would love to help transform your child’s room into the space you dream it to be!

what we have to offer....

In our last post we mentioned our design services here. Specifically the Nursery Design Service is similar to what many Baby Concierge or Baby Planners do. You may be familiar with these services, but for those who aren’t, it is basically a service where a person will prepare you for what is to come in the months ahead when you are expecting a newborn. These people are called Baby Planners or Baby Concierge.

I know these terms may seem a little new to some of you, so allow me to explain the benefits. For everyone expecting their first baby the planning can seem a bit overwhelming, and for some it can be completely confusing. Not all of us have been schooled on diaper genies or the big debate over whether crib bumpers are a must or a no-no. The Baby Planner is there to educate you and help you decide what the best game plan and products are for you and your family.

Baby Planners are usually educated in early childhood development, like our business owner Yana Drogobetsky! She will be expecting her own little one soon so we can all look forward to hearing her list of must-haves.

Coupled with the concept of a Baby Planner, Bambini Design also has professional Interior Designers on staff. The nursery will be the center of the action when the baby is born, so you want to make sure it will facilitate all your needs, and it should look and feel great too. Whether you just need someone to help you thumb through fabric swatches and paint colors, assist in furniture choices, or tackle the whole space from A to B, we are here for you.

Our staff has vast knowledge of ergonomics, spatial relations, child-friendly materials, and all the little things that can turn the room into your little baby haven. If you think you might need a little or A LOT of help with your nursery, or just want a second opinion on your ideas, give us a call, or stop by the store to set up an appointment. We hope to be hearing from you soon.

playtime

Kaloo Activity Mats stand out because of their subtleties.

We use rich cotton velour and extra-thick bumbers to corral young roll-aways. We also use gentle squeakers, crinckle paper and other soothing yet intereting activites.

We do not use hard plastics, flashing lights or sandy polyesters that are often found on other mats commonly found in the market place.

Our Mats are generously sized at 34” x 34” x 18”. The cross bars arches have 2 height settings depending on the age of your child. They are also detachable, when the mat is in need of washing.

For easy storage, our mats fold in half for storage and come in a handy reusable vinyl carrying case.

Like all Kaloo products, our entire range has a look & feel of pure (yet affordable) luxury that your little one will appreciate.
